Belgian Beer Brewery Visit
Beer discovery tour (example) :
Day 1 : Arrival in Belgium
- Pick up at the airport Brussels National Brussels midi / train station
- Transfer to hotel Mechelen
- Dinner (3 course + 2 comsumpties + coffee)
The tour begins when you arrive in Belgium . We welcome you at the airport of Brussels National or in the Brussels Midi station and then transport you to the hotel .
This day there is not really a planning. Possible to organise to a local visit to a brewery.
There is a three course dinner provided in the evening with 2 drinks and coffee afterwards .
Day 2 : Discovery brewery Mechelen
- Breakfast
- Gathering 9:30
- Visit Mechelen brewery two tastings
- Lunch
- Visit local brewery
- Dinner ( 2 drinks + coffee)
After awakening awaits you breakfast and you will be at the reception expecting to 9.30 depending on the schedule , we visit in the morning to the brewery in Mechelen and in the afternoon to a brewery in the region. In the afternoon there is a lunch provided and in the evening a 3 course meal with 2 drinks and coffee .
That night we sleep in the same hotel again .
Day 3 : Bruges Mechelen/ Oudenaarde / Westvleteren
- Breakfast
- Gathering 9:00
- Departure Westvleteren + sandwich at Westvleteren + 2 drinks
- Departure Liefmans Oudenaarde tour + 2 drinks
- Check out Bruges + Hotel Bruges
- Belgian meal ( mussels / fries / beer )
This day there is a long ride on the schedule. Meeting at the reception at 9:00 . Be checked out before this hour.We leave for Westvleteren and bring here to visit the chapel and have lunch and taste meanwhile the Trappists ( Westvleteren sandwiches + 2 drinks included)
Then we leave for Liefmans brewery in Oudenaarde for a tour and afterwards there are 2 drinks provided
After this visit we drive to Bruges where we check into the hotel . We stay 2 nights .
In the evening there is a Belgian meal such as: mussels (according to season and if you like to taste it ) with fries and a beer
Day 4 : Bruges
- Breakfast
- Free time Bruges
- Dinner beer restaurant + 2 drinks
- Visit beerpubs ( 2 drinks )
- Overnight Bruges
Today you have a free day to visit Bruges.
In the evening we come together at the reception at 18:30 and go to the restaurant ( one of my favorite places in Bruges ) dinner made with beer. 3 course meal Here are also included 2 drinks of your choice.
To close the evening nicely we visit one (or two) of the famous beer pubs in Bruges and here are 2 drinks included .
Day 5: Departure Maredsous / Brasserie d'Achouffe
- Breakfast
- Departure Maredsous Abbey
- Lunch
- Departure brasserie d'Achouffe
- Visit brewery / 2 drinks
- Dinner
- Overnight la chouffe
This morning we have breakfast and we check out . At 9.15 am we leave Maredsous Abbey , where we get a guided tour with a retrospective tasting and lunch spot .
Then we drive to visit Houffalize . Gnoum brewery.Get a tour with some tastings . We stay in Houffalize .
Depending on the option: there we visit also a local brewery ( this depends on how early you booked because its always full )
Dinner equipped with 2 drinks
Day 6 : Brussels
- Breakfast
- Departure Brussels
- Local beer pub (2 drinks) and dinner in restaurant (2 drinks)
- Check Hotel Brussels + farewell
- souvenir
First there is breakfast provided and then we leave around 10am towards Brussels . we check in at the hotel.
We're going to visit one of the local cafes in Brussels and visit the beermusea and after we have a dinner in a beer restaurant . In the evening we say goodbye to the driver and get a souvenir.
The next day we provide a transport to the airport Brussels National and Brussels Midi Train Station when needed.
