We provide you on this page with an example of a 6 day beer tour. Please keep in mind that the example 6 day beer tour can be totally changed to your specific interests. For example, if you want to visit other breweries, we will create a custom schedule so you’ll have the best time in Belgium visiting breweries.
Day 1 : Arrival in Belgium
We’ll pick you up at Brussels National Airport or Brussels midi (train station)
Transfer to your hotel in Mechelen
Dinner (3 course, 2 beverages and coffee)
The tour begins when you arrive in Belgium. We welcome you at the airport of Brussels National or in the Brussels Midi station and then transport you to the hotel. Because of the variable timeframe of your arrival there is not fixed planning for this day. However, it might be possible to organize a visit to a local brewery. In the evening, there is a three course dinner provided with 2 drinks and coffee afterwards .
Day 2 : Discovery brewery Mechelen

After breakfast, we expect you at the reception at 9.30 depending on the schedule. We visit a brewery in Mechelen in the morning and in the afternoon another brewery in the same region. Later in the afternoon we’ll have lunch and in the evening a delicious 3 course meal with 2 drinks and coffee. That night we sleep in the same hotel.
Day 3 : Bruges Mechelen/ Oudenaarde / Westvleteren

Belgian meal (mussels, fries and beer)
We meet at the reception at 9:00. You’ll have to be checked out before that time. We leave to the famous Westvleteren and visit the chapel. After that, we’ll have lunch and taste the trappists (Westvleteren, sandwiches and 2 drinks included). Then it’s time to visit Liefmans brewery in Oudenaarde for a tour and 2 drinks afterwards. After this visit we drive to Bruges where we check into the hotel. We’ll stay 2 nights at this hotel. In the evening there is a Belgian meal such as: mussels (according to season and if you like to taste it) with fries and a beer.
Day 4 : Bruges

Overnight Bruges
Today you have a free day to visit Bruges. In the evening we come together at the reception at 18:30 to go to the restaurant (one of my favorite places in Bruges). The best part: the dinner is made with beer. We’ll have a 3 course meal with 2 drinks of your choice included. To close the evening nicely we visit one (or two) of the famous beer pubs in Bruges and again there are 2 drinks included.
Day 5: Departure Maredsous / Brasserie d’Achouffe

This morning we have breakfast and check out of the hotel. At 9.15 am we leave to Maredsous Abbey where we get a guided tour with a retrospective tasting and lunch spot. Then we drive to visit Houffalize Gnoum brewery. We’ll get a tour with some great tastings. We stay in Houffalize for the rest of the day. Depending on how early you booked we can visit another local brewery. Afterwards we’ll have dinner equipped with 2 drinks.
Day 6 : Brussels

Souvenir
After breakfast, we leave around 10am towards Brussels and check in at the hotel. We’re going to visit one of the local cafes in Brussels and visit the beermusea. After that, we’ll have dinner in a beer restaurant. In the evening we say goodbye but we’ll have a souvenir for you. The next day we provide a transport to Brussels National Airport and Brussels Midi Train Station when needed.
